We feel that it’s our responsibility to “clear the way” for you to come to church. And if it’s been a long time since you’ve been to church, Liverpool CC has you in mind! There’s already enough you have to think about when you’re visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of this “stuff” out of the way not only encourages you to join us for church, but also helps you to connect with the hope and encouragement that God has for you. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions like:
When are your Service Times?
We have two worship services at 9:00 and 10:30. This service incorporates the drums, guitars, and a thumpin bass. We plan for service to last a little over an hour.

Will I Fit In?
Only if you’re not perfect. LCC is made up of imperfect people, in fact NO PERFECT PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED. So come as you are, all you single mom’s, all you tattooed, all you different thinkers, all you who question God, and everyone in between. You are all welcome to come and explore a loving and gracious God. After all, that’s what we are doing.
When should I arrive?
We suggest you arrive about 10-15 minutes before the worship service begins. This would give you plenty of time to find a convenient parking place, check out our children’s ministry area, get a cup of coffee, and find the perfect seat in our worship center.
What should I wear?
Our pastor wears a suit and tie … at FUNERALS and WEDDINGS. Seriously, wear whatever you are comfortable in. Don’t let clothing be the thing that keeps you from coming. Come dressed comfortable; that’s what we do.
What do you have for my children?
We know that as a parent you need be sure that your children are in a SAFE learning environment. And we know that your children are looking for a FUN place to learn. We’ve invested a lot to make sure that both of these goals are reached. You’ll see that in the areas the children meet in, and even more in the volunteers who work with your kids. Our children’s ministry volunteers love working with children, and it shows!
What are the messages like?
Our basic philosophy is that it should be a sin to teach people the Bible in a boring way, because God’s message is way too important. We seek to give easy-to-understand, practical messages from the Bible that will help you deal with real life issues. In other words, each week you’ll be able to use something that you’ve heard in the message. We want to help you connect with the personal hope and practical help that God gives us in the Bible.
What kind of church is this?
We are a church who loves God and loves people. We are committed to communicating the grace of God in ways that people can understand. We are an independent Christian church with no ties to any particular denomination. We’re not in competition with any other church because we’re all on the same team. We believe and teach the Bible to the best of our ability. We’re far from perfect, so if you’re looking for a perfect church just keep looking!
What kind of music do you have?
Our music is band driven and probably much louder than at your grandmother’s church! We play and sing some of today’s most popular worship tunes from Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Hillsong, and others. Basically, we like to jam.
